LAMDA EXAMS

LAMDA Speech & Drama classes are drama lessons leading to exams set by the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art.  These exams are designed to develop the skills necessary to communicate dramatic text to an audience. Learners who prepare themselves appropriately will develop interpretative skills, technical skills and knowledge of the performance process.  

 

During exams, the students will be required to perform scenes from memory, audiby and clearly, showing that they understand the meaning of what they are speaking and be able to use the space to complement their performance.  Monologues as well as duologues can be chosen. 

LAMDA and monologue training has been a huge factor in Drama Hub Sussex's development. 

We have an extremely impressive record of results for LAMDA Examinations (all distinction and high merits).

 

We offer after school sessions and have a brilliant relationship with Bohunt School Worthing and offer LAMDA@Bohunt sessions during the school day.

MONOLOGUE SMASHOUT

Courtney has helped numerous students gain places to top drama schools across the UK with alumni studying at prestigious schools such as GSA, ArtsEd, Italia Conti, Performers College, Emil Dale and Mountview to name but a few.

Monologue Smashout sessions are designed for those preparing for Drama School auditions. In our sessions we will work on the classical and contemporary texts needed for audition and any devising elements they also require. Self tape are filmed in classes and sent to you ready to submit for auditions.

Monologue Smashout does not guarantee you a place at drama school, but il help you smash out your monologues to the best of your ability!
